CLARKSVILLE – Exactly two weeks to the day Clarksville will play host to CAL in the Class 1A Region 5 volleyball opener, the Cadets served up a sweep against the Indians.

While CAL was serving well above its season average, Clarksville tried to get its serving game going by using the Indians’ libero one too many times, losing points in the end and allowing the Cadets’ Stephanie Thielen to serve an ace for match point.

It improved CAL to 7-9 overall, 4-4 in the Iowa Star North. Clarksville fell to 4-15, 2-6 Iowa Star in the 25-21, 25-10, 25-18 win for the Cadets.
