CAL netters match last year’s win total with 3-1 win over GMG

LATIMER – Living and dying by the serve, CAL’s volleyball kept things lively in a 3-1 match Iowa Star North match win over GMG, Garwin on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The Cadets matched their win total from all of last year, partially by serving up 17 aces against the Wolverines in a 25-15, 26-24, 20-25, 25-15 victory.

“We struggle with serving,” CAL coach Amanda Heiden said. “So (Thursday) we’re going to work on it in practice.”
