CAL hitting woes key in sweep by GMG

LATIMER – It wasn’t a lack of attack for the CAL volleyball team, it was just making the hits count.
The Cadets committed 21 hitting errors in a 3-0 sweep by Iowa Star Conference opponent GMG at CAL High School on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
In a six-point span in the opening set, five hitting errors helped the Wolverines build a 7-2 advantage and it escalated from there in the eventual 25-11, 25-9, 25-10 win over the Cadets.
