Friends, faculty and family members said goodbye to the CAL High School Class of 2015 during an hour-long commencement ceremony Sunday afternoon.
Seventeen students comprised this year’s senior class. Members of CAL’s administration commended the group for their hard work and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
“Today is an important milestone for our graduates. It is a time to rejoice and a time to celebrate a job well done,” said Principal Scott Striegel. “It’s also a time to look to the future and take to heart the message in the class motto: ‘We have come a long way, but not half as far as we will go.’ “
Science teacher Jane Halladay and art instructor Patty Reed were this year’s guest speakers. The duo urged the graduates to take risks and “think outside of the box.”
