CAL’s Stephanie Thielen collects her 500th career rebound

LATIMER – When Stephanie Thielen of CAL woke up Thursday, Feb. 2, she thought she needed just two rebounds to earn the 500th of her career.
On closer inspection, she needed four, but that didn’t matter because the Cadet senior girls basketball player earned the milestone with a little more than two minutes left in the first half of her team’s non-conference game against St. Ansgar.
Thielen had a whale of a game with a double-double, scoring 37 of her team’s 47 points in an eventual 61-47 loss to the Saints.
