LATIMER – Cadet sophomore Dianna Porzio noted that GMG was being lazy in its ball handling.

And the 5-foot-4 guard did something about it, using five take-aways against the Wolverines as CAL won its regular-season home finale, 44-30 on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

“They were kind of sloppy with it (the ball),” Porzio explained, “so I was, like, trying to use pressure, just try and steal it.”

Three of her steals turned into points on the other end as the Cadets turned the advantage into double digits, something GMG couldn’t overcome with a short bench and foul trouble.
