Cadets battle against Eagle Grove

LATIMER – With just under five minutes to go in the non-conference girls’ basketball tilt, CAL had battled within five of the Eagles.
The score was 45-40 in favor of the visitors after an Eagle Grove free throw, but after that CAL was out-scored 19-5 the rest of the way in the 64-45 loss.
In fact, coach Mike Rapp’s team had come within a single point at 39-38 at the 7:21 mark in the fourth quarter and again within a basket (42-40) at 6:05.
