HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont’s softball team won the third of its last four games, but more importantly scored a quality win over Class 1A No. 9 Janesville in a walk-off on Tuesday, June 16.
Madison Mason, who knocked home a run in the opening inning, hit a bases-loaded knock to the fence again in the bottom of the seventh as H-D improved to 5-4 overall.
Charlie Myers, who was 3-for-3 out of the No. 9 hitting position, scored the winning run after she led off the seventh with a hit up the middle.
