Bulldogs start out strong against Osage in 64-47 loss

HAMPTON – Heath Walton, Hampton-Dumont’s boys’ basketball coach couldn’t have asked for a better start from his Bulldogs against Osage on Monday, Jan. 8.
However, the key was holding onto that energy H-D brought against the Green Devils in which the Bulldogs took an early 5-0 lead, held the lead for the majority of the first quarter and headed into the second eight minutes with a 15-11 advantage.
“I thought we came out and did the things we needed to do,” Walton said. “I thought we rebounded okay, I thought we really hustled for loose balls and were all over the court trying to make things happen defensively..."
