HUMBOLDT – Patty Teggatz’s 29th place individual finish was the tops for Hampton-Dumont at a highly-competitive Humboldt cross country meet at Sheldon Park on Monday, Sept. 21.
Teggatz crossed the finish line in 23 minutes, 23.9 seconds for her place in a meet that included Class 2A No. 5 Pocahontas, which won the team title with 59 points, Class 3A No. 14 Humboldt (runner-up, 53 points) and Algona as well as 3A schools.
She was only three runners to compete on the girls’ varsity while the Bulldog boys’ squad ran only four, one shy of a team result.
