Bulldogs rally from two-set deficit to win first conference match in nearly 2 years

HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont setter Cassy Miller admits that when her team lost the first game in the Bulldogs’ 3-2 match win against Webster City by a 25-9 score on Tuesday, Sept. 15, the odds of coming back didn’t look good.
And it looked far worse when H-D faced a 2-0 deficit after a 25-14 second-set loss.
But then head coach Dave Harms took the team out of the gym and said some inspiring words.
“I thought it would be pretty tough with how we started,” Miller said...
