HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont’s high octane offense and tenacious defense overpowered Southeast Valley as the Bulldogs won their first playoff football game since 2007.

In the process, coach Jerry Shafrath’s team passed a couple more marks in the school record books during the 53-7 win over the Jaguars, a first-year whole sharing program that previously included Southeast Webster and Prairie Valley, Gowrie.

The Bulldogs needed only 60 yards to surpass the season passing mark held since 1978 of 1,442.
