Bulldogs must share NCC title

HAMPTON – Let’s be clear, Hampton-Dumont coach Chad Johnson and his team do not like to share.
But the 3A No. 8 Bulldogs were forced to when they had a let-down in an eventual 58-52 loss to Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Monday, Feb. 9.
If they had won, the title would have been all theirs, but H-D couldn’t have had a worse start against the Gaels.
Johnson expressed his frustration in not earning the NCC out-right – something his team has had to do with St. Edmond for the second time in three years.
“Our effort tonight was not very good to start the game,” Johnson said....
