LAKE MILLS – Hampton-Dumont’s baseball team improved to 6-0 on the season with a pair of wins at the Lake Mills tournament on Saturday, June 6.
It marks a top-five start to the season for a Bulldog baseball team, matching three other 6-0 starts in 1970, 2005 and 2010, short of a 7-0 start in 1966 and the best start in school history, 8-0, in 2001.
Coach Matt Lokenvitz’s squad opened with a 12-6 win over host school Lake Mills and then finished the day by taking a 13-4 victory against St. Ansgar.
