Bulldogs exit own tourney against No. 1 Janesville

HAMPTON – Playing in the quarterfinals for the first time in five years following pool play in its own tournament, the Hampton-Dumont volleyball team went out against top-ranked (Class 1A) Janesville.
The Bulldogs finished 1-2 in pool play, but because four other teams went 0-3, they were awarded the No. 1 at-large spot against the Wildcats, avoiding the consolation bracket the middle school.
Coach Kelli Showalter's team started out with a good back-and-forth match against Roland-Story.
