Bulldogs complete rare season sweep of Clear Lake

HAMPTON – A heated defensive effort from both teams favored the Class 3A No. 7 Hampton-Dumont girls’ basketball team as it completed a rare season sweep of Clear Lake on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
The last time the Bulldogs did so was in the 2007-08 season when they actually defeated the Lions three times – once in the post-season.
“It’s very exciting,” junior guard Cassy Miller said. “We haven’t done that (sweep Clear Lake) in a while, I guess.”
