PARKERSBURG – Hampton-Dumont’s boys basketball team put Class 2A third-ranked Aplington-Parkersburg to the test, but fell short in a rematch of last year's semifinal.
This time, the Falcons had a home court advantage and boasted a 20-1 record heading into the contest.
Tied at 36 at half, a fateful third quarter decided this one in a 65-59.
H-D bows out at 12-10.
