HAMPTON – Missing seven games was hard on Hampton-Dumont senior Katie Brolsma.

Friday night, when the Bulldogs played host to rival Clarion-Goldfield, the forward returned to the court off of the bench and made her presence known right away in a 53-40 over the Cowgirls.

“It was awesome,” Brolsma said of her return. “It was tough sitting on the bench for a few weeks. I didn’t think I was going to be out for that long, but things didn’t go the way I wanted, so I had to sit out a few weeks. I’m glad to be back, it feels really good.”
