Bulldog girls tennis makes history; scores first win for H-D program

HAMPTON – When Brooklyn Plagge rallied to win her No. 2 singles match, it clinched Hampton-Dumont’s girls’ tennis team’s first team tennis win in school history.
And it made it that more impressive since she was down 5-3 in a six-game pro-set, rallied to tie it and then won in a tiebreak on Monday, April 13 at Progress Park.
“I had a goal in mind that I wanted to win and move forward, so I kept that in mind, focusing on my shots and not worry what she was doing and making sure I got the ball over the net each time,” Plagge said....
