HAMPTON – The conditions weren’t the best, but Hampton-Dumont’s boys tennis team did what it could against a solid program in Aplington-Parkersburg on Thursday, May 1.

It certainly didn’t feel like the first day of May with temperatures in the mid-40s and the wind chill making it closer to the upper-30s, but it was a dry day and the Bulldogs played on in an 8-1 loss to the Falcons.

More on this story, plus photos, are in the May 7 print edition of the Hampton Chronicle.
