CLARKSVILLE – Mother Nature had other plans for the ending of CAL vs. Clarksville’s baseball game that began on Monday, June 23.

Starting under blue skies, the Cadets and Indians were battling it out in this Iowa Star Conference game when a storm slowly rolled in.

Shortly after CAL took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth inning on a fielder’s choice RBI by Mario Yañez to score Zach Vanness, the rain that had already started became a downpour and lightning was spotted, forcing a momentary halt of the game.
