Brass wins NCC high jump title

HAMPTON – Bo Brass started off the North Central Conference meet for Hampton-Dumont by winning the high jump title.

Brass and runner-up Cal Zahn of Webster City both cleared 6 feet even, but Brass had fewer misses, earning the win for the Bulldogs’ only conference title for the day.

He only recently returned from a calf injury.

“A lot better,” Brass said of how he feels. “It’s still sore, but it doesn’t bother me, anymore.”
