Betten recognized for Tuesday on the Town contributions

Tuesday on the Town contributor Mike Betten received a surprise during the Hampton City Council’s workshop on Monday night.
     The meeting began with the introduction of the Sarah Dunn Band. Just arriving to town before the meeting, Mayor Brook Boehmler invited the band to meet with the city council.
     However, the introduction turned out to be a ruse, with Boehmler’s real objective being to get KLMJ’s Mike Betten in front of the council so he could make a proclamation to recognize Betten’s contributions to the city through his work with Tuesday on the Town.
