Baxter gets the jump on CAL

LATIMER – Baxter’s softball team collected eight of their nine hits off of CAL’s Erin Heldenbrand to put nine-runs on the board in an eventual 12-0, three-inning Iowa Star Conference game on Tuesday, May 29.
The Bolts’ lead-off hitter, catcher Holly Jessen, went 3-for-3 with two three-run triples that jump-started the visitors in this one.
