Barrick, Cougars defeat Rebels

ACKLEY – When Taryan Barrick is locked in, it’s going to be hard to beat the AGWSR sophomore in the pitching circle.
Barrick’s one-hit shutout earned her the pitching victory in the Cougars’ 9-0 triumph over Gladbrook-Reinbeck in Ackley last Thursday night.
Barrick struck out sixteen batters with one walk. The only hit allowed by the Cougars was a bloop single down the first-base line.
