Balanced Bulldogs beat young North Butler team

HAMPTON – It was overall balance for Class 3A No. 4 Hampton-Dumont’s girls basketball team that proved to be too much for a young North Butler squad on Saturday afternoon, 62-29.

Coach Chad Johnson’s squad didn’t have any player finish with double-figure scoring, but every single player on the Bulldogs saw the court and 11 of them scored at least two in topping the Bearcats.

“We got a lot of kids in the game today.” H-D head coach Chad Johnson said. “I thought some kids really stepped up..."
