Area runners medal in NCC meets

HAMPTON – It was a long time ago that Aubrie Fisher of IF-A/AGWSR ran the Maynes Grove course.
Since seven weeks ago at the Iowa Falls home meet, the course was altered a little more than a week and a half ago because of heavy rainfall.
The new course was more to Fisher’s liking as she finished third in 20 minutes, 7.10 seconds, ahead of teammate Bethany Lippert to earn a medal in the North Central Conference meet on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
