AGWSR finishes third again in wind-aided finale

FORT DODGE – Taking advantage of a wind from right to left, AGWSR built a big lead and had to hold on with the winds of change.

It all boiled down to a wild and windy 9-7 six-inning consolation final over Martensdale-St. Marys in which the Cougars took third in back-to-back years.

And, because of the fact they had great tournaments, out-going seniors Morgan Rose and Madi Fryslie went out by being voted to the Class 1A all-tournament team.
