AGWSR baseball has Janesville on brink, can’t hold on
JANESVILLE – AGWSR nearly pulled off an amazing upset in the Class 1A district baseball tournament on Thursday, July 17.
The Cougars had a 5-1 lead and two outs against 19-4 Janesville in the sixth inning, but couldn’t get the final out as the Wildcats more than batted around to take a 9-5 lead and grab the victory from AGWSR’s clutches.
