Moviegoers at the Windsor Theatre next month may see a few familiar faces meet a gruesome end.
Kevin Isaacson, a north Iowa-based film producer, will bring his full-length feature “Run” to the Windsor screen March 9 through 11.
“Run,” an action-thriller, tells the story of Phoenix James, played by Carly Neel, and her quest for revenge against the ruthless Irish hitman, Cirus, played by Hampton-Dumont graduate Jacob Foster, for killing her parents when she was a child. Hamptonite Colt Powers also makes an appearance as a henchman.
Isaacson said the movie resembles the high octane action flicks of the 1980s and 1990s, as those are the films that spurred his love of movie making.
“I’ve always loved action movies,” he said. “When we set out to make the film, our goal was to create a big Hollywood-type action film with little-to-no budget.”
