LATIMER – With the swish of a free throw, CAL senior Karter Miller accomplished something she set out to do since she was a freshman.

The Cadet guard became only the second player in CAL history to score 1,000 points in front of a large home crowd in a non-conference game against Northwood-Kensett on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Everyone was there to celebrate Miller’s accomplishment.

“I was thinking about it a lot,” Miller admitted. “Every day this week, people were counting down my points after Monday night’s game. I knew I had to do it not only for my team, but for myself.”
