LATIMER – At first, CAL’s Caleb Striegel couldn’t miss.
And the result in the early going was a 6-0 Cadet lead.
But they couldn’t hold on against a determined Northeast Hamilton team that wanted to close out its school regular-season history with a win and did so with a 59-53 victory over CAL on Friday, Feb. 13.

HAMPTON – What a difference a few days make.
Hampton-Dumont’s boys basketball team suffered a road overtime loss to Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Friday, Feb. 6 and then turned around to play them again on Monday, Feb. 9 in which the Bulldogs got out to a quick start and trailed very little in an eventual 52-43 win over the Gaels.

HAMPTON – Let’s be clear, Hampton-Dumont coach Chad Johnson and his team do not like to share.
But the 3A No. 8 Bulldogs were forced to when they had a let-down in an eventual 58-52 loss to Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Monday, Feb. 9.
If they had won, the title would have been all theirs, but H-D couldn’t have had a worse start...

DIKE - Trailing 49-40 at half, Hampton-Dumont's boys basketball team needed no halftime talk from coach Heath Walton to motivate itself.
The Bulldogs outscored Waterloo Columbus 50-17 in the second half to post a 90-66 win in the Class 2A District 5 opening round game at Dike-New Hartford High School.
