Julie Schall, 54, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her home in Hampton, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 7th, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Kathleen Mae Pralle, 94, of Hampton, formerly of Latimer, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2024, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Latimer.  Kathleen will be laid to rest in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Latimer.  Woodley Funeral Home of Hampton is caring for Kathleen and her family.

Anna Mae (Annie) Avery was born near Galt, IA to Dillard and Luelda (McKinley) Tudor on Feb. 3, 1932. At the age of three weeks, they moved to the Tudor farm north of Rowan. She attended school at Rowan and graduated with the class of 1949. After graduation she worked at the Azeltine grocery.

She married Robert (Bob) Avery on January 6, 1952 at the Little Brown Church near Nashua. Bob left for military service in March 1952, and she continued to work until his return in 1954.

Annette Pauline Scholl was born on July 8, 1953 to James and Marlene (Nielsen) Sheriff in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Jim and Marlene moved to a farm outside of Rockwell in 1966. In 1971, Annette graduated from Rockwell-Swaledale High School. On November 24, 1973, Annette was joined in holy matrimony to Mark Eugene Scholl, the son of Ralph and Ida Rose Scholl of Rockwell. Mark and Annette have three children, Meagen, Justin and Jordan.
