JACKSON JUNCTION – Turkey Valley lived up to its 8-Player top-five billing with a 62-8 win over visiting AGWSR on Friday, Sept. 23. The Cougars managed to roll up 263 ground yards against the Trojans, but were still no match for the powerful home team which finished with 261 ground yards and 143 passing, completing five TD passes to four different receivers. Hampton-Dumont's Middle School girls' team had three relays earn medals at the state meet held at Waukee on Saturday, May 7. Due to this week's deadline, the photo and story will run in the May 18 print edition of the Hampton Chronicle.

DES MOINES – AGWSR junior Nathan Karsjens competed in his first Drake Relays, throwing the discus during the Thursday, April 28 event.
